Come to Bethlemhem Christmas Cards

I have a holiday boutique I am doing in November and I have just started to sit down and create all the crafty things I want to sell.
Here is my first set of 10 Christmas Cards

I found a bottle of Folk Art Pearl Glaze that I used for the snow flakes.
I really like how it came out. Not sure if they still sell it but worth a looksy.

My new fave thing to do is stamp and then emboss as you can see.

I knew all the supplies I wanted to use for my cards but it took me forever to get it all put together, till it dawned on me. Stamp the image and then emboss over it! Who woulda thunk it? Well me after about 3hrs and sleeping on it. HAHAHA!

Supplies you can use to make this card are:

1" Circle Punch
Modern Label Punch
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Old Olive Cardstock
Early Espresso Cardstock
Soft Suede Stamp Pad

Hope you enjoy my take the card.

Now I would like to feature the Wonderfall Stamp Set and Bigz Die Set. Also the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. If you scroll down there will be a photo tutorial showing how to stamp these images after you die cut them.

I am really in love with the wood grain embossing folder. I took a sponge with some crumb cake ink and rubbed it over the paper after embossing to help the impression to stand out more.

When you die cut your leaves this is what you get.
Trying to get an even stamp using red rubber stamps that you cant see through might be tricky.
So this is what I do.

Ink your stamp and lay it down like this

Next you want to take your leaf and line it up
Notice how my stems are facing facing the same direction? When I go to lay my leaf down I start with lining up the stem first and then lay the rest.

now you can press down and turn it over and press down the normal way.

And there you have it.

Another trick I like to do is crinkle my leaves up like the picture above.
Stay turned for this finished project.

Anyone who places an order with me by Friday, August 17, 12pm PST and orders at least one of the items listed on this post today and a minimum of $50 will receive FREE SHIPPING!!!

July Technique

Here is some fun using Stampin UP!'s New Spritzer

Using the spritzer with this Technique is so easy.
I punched out 4 pennants and placed them the way I wanted

Then I sprayed all over the paper

And then I took off the pennants

 And there you have it!

The Skys the limit Card

I love Stampin UP! Up, Up, & Away Stamp set. I have had it for a while but haven't used it much. So I decided that I needed to get to using it, and here is what I came up with while watching some old episodes of Suits.

Ahh, gotta love these guys. O.K. O.K. enough drooling. Well I take that back drool a little over those guys and a little over my "The sky's the limit" card. Enjoy!

Here is a couple of pics to show how I made the rolling hills.
First you want to punch out a couple of circles. I frayed the edges to give the appearance of grass. Just use your scissors and snip.
After you figure out where you would like your circles to be, adhere them.
Cut off the excess so the circles stay with the shape of the card.
And I added an accent green to really show off the grass effect.

And one more show is my Swap Tag I made for a demonstrators meeting.

 Have a great day everyone!

Thinking of you Delicate Doilies

I loved making these cards. I may do them for our Luv2stamp swap in August. They are so fun and quick to put together. Random stamping is one of my favorite things to do with stamps because you can make so many different designs.
I tried making a video but my phone kept falling and the kids ran in ringing bells; I decided it wasn't worth becoming Momzilla over. =)

Album in a Box

For my next class, Thursday July 26th, we will be making this cute Album in a Box. What I love so much about this idea is that:
1) it is super simple.
2) looks fabulous
3) a great gift or a coffee table decoration for the home.
I really like the idea of giving it as a gift for a birthday friend or family. It is a small fun album for them to have all ready to just adhere photos. Or you can give it with photos you took and give as a fun after party gift. =) Either way who wouldn't like to have something near where they can just pop the lid off and reminisce about good memories.
Once I get my camcorder so I can do videos, I will have to post a video tutorial on how you can make this as well.
