Bold Snowflake Ornament

I really love that SU has single stamps right now. AND...I love even more how some of them coordinate with punches and framelits.
Last night I worked on these ornaments, I made 5 of each color. They are supper simple and you need minimal supplies.

First you need cardstock, white or cream.
3 Stamp pad colors. I used Stampin'UP! REAL RED< OLD OLIVE< POOL PARTY

Each ornament takes 6 punched snowflakes

Fold each one in half

Now glue 2 sets of three together

Loop some twine or linen thread just like the image below
and hot glue it down on the back side of your one of your 3piece snowflake

Now take the the piece with the twine and put hot glue all down the middle section.
Grab your second 3piece snowflake and adhere in the middle just like the image below.

Hot glue the left over 2 ends together and viola!

October Paper Pumpkin

These are so cute I am going to start with a picture before I say anymore!

This was inspired by the ever so TALENTED

Quick tut on this pumpkin is as follows

16- 5 1/2 x 3/4 strips

Start with 2 Strips and glue the ends
together making one long strip

Take another 2 strips doing the same
and laying it over the first 2 to form a cross.

Adhere them together.

Now start going around and filling
in the 4 gap areas with strips.

Take the first 2 strips you started with
and bring them together and glue

Take the next 2 strips bringing them
together and glue.

At the top you should have
another cross shape glued
 together at the top.

Now start bringing up the rest, gluing together.

Seasonal Sayings Christmas Card

I won the Stampin'UP! Seasonal Sayings stamp set from my downline. I was super stoked to get this because 1. I really never win anything! 2. It wasn't something I would have chosen for myself and I loved the thought of a new challenge!

With it I have created the below projects.

Another set of 10 Christmas Cards

My sketch inspiration came from Scrappassion
I don't need to reinvent the wheel but I do enjoy jumping from a springboard
and seeing where I land.

I love this bag/card set.
I enjoy creating my own backgrounds with stamps.

I cut the hearts with the Heart Framelits using chipboard,
then did the same size hearts in paper.
I really love that Sizzix will cut through chipboard

Stampin' UP! products used are:

Seasonal Saying Stamp Set
Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set
Wood grain Embossing Folder
Heart Framelits

Come to Bethlemhem Christmas Cards

I have a holiday boutique I am doing in November and I have just started to sit down and create all the crafty things I want to sell.
Here is my first set of 10 Christmas Cards

I found a bottle of Folk Art Pearl Glaze that I used for the snow flakes.
I really like how it came out. Not sure if they still sell it but worth a looksy.

My new fave thing to do is stamp and then emboss as you can see.

I knew all the supplies I wanted to use for my cards but it took me forever to get it all put together, till it dawned on me. Stamp the image and then emboss over it! Who woulda thunk it? Well me after about 3hrs and sleeping on it. HAHAHA!

Supplies you can use to make this card are:

Stampin' UP! Come to Bethlehem Stamp Set
Snow Flurry Bigz Die
1" Circle Punch
Modern Label Punch
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Old Olive Cardstock
Early Espresso Cardstock
Soft Suede Stamp Pad

So it has been a while since I have shown any love to my blogs. Here's a short post but a good one, I think. I found an amazing card sketch through pinterest and wanted to use it right away. I knew just what I was going to do with it, but like always my path diverted just a little but stayed true to the original sketch. For the inspiration you can check HERE.
Hope you enjoy my take the card.

Now I would like to feature the Wonderfall Stamp Set and Bigz Die Set. Also the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. If you scroll down there will be a photo tutorial showing how to stamp these images after you die cut them.

I am really in love with the wood grain embossing folder. I took a sponge with some crumb cake ink and rubbed it over the paper after embossing to help the impression to stand out more.

When you die cut your leaves this is what you get.
Trying to get an even stamp using red rubber stamps that you cant see through might be tricky.
So this is what I do.

Ink your stamp and lay it down like this

Next you want to take your leaf and line it up
Notice how my stems are facing facing the same direction? When I go to lay my leaf down I start with lining up the stem first and then lay the rest.

now you can press down and turn it over and press down the normal way.

And there you have it.

Another trick I like to do is crinkle my leaves up like the picture above.
Stay turned for this finished project.

Anyone who places an order with me by Friday, August 17, 12pm PST and orders at least one of the items listed on this post today and a minimum of $50 will receive FREE SHIPPING!!!
